Description
The ideal intersection of lightweight softness, travel-ready adaptability and stretch comfort, this signature design features fine Merino wool spun around a core performance yarn. This allows the hand feel and luxurious look of Merino to shine while maintaining the added stretch and resiliency afforded by the performance yarn. Finished with pointelle details at the collar and sleeves, and a subtle mother-of-pearl brand.

Previously great, current design is baffling
Incredibly disappointing.
1. Weird length. After 2023/2024, Peter Millar decided in their 2025 version to lengthen the arms by 1” and the length of the sweater by 1.75”. This sweater now lies in a weird baggy way where it causes an extra roll in the stomach area, but is very boxy in the shoulders. It feels like a redesign to accommodate a 5’8” model with a triangle-shaped torso. I’m 38B, 5’2” and like most middle-aged women, am not shaped like a beanpole.
2. They also added a weird button to the left side, which looks odd when actually worn. I cut them off and unfortunately that was before I learned…
3. Design failure. The designer also added deliberate holes in the form of 6 full inches of open hemstitching along the top of the sleeve to the cuff. No one asked for hemstitching in a place where the holes are in a great position to catch on something and rip your sweater.
4. Be careful with the colors. The lighter colors are weirdly sheer and will certainly show your undergarments.
I’m so disappointed in these, especially after paying full price for two thinking they were the same as last year’s, and am now desperately searching for old stock.
